Jaw crushers are used as the primary crushing stage for various ores and rocks, capable of processing various ores with a compressive strength of no more than 320 MPa into medium-sized particles in a single pass. They are often used in conjunction with cone crushers, impact crushers, sand making machines, etc., to form a complete sand and gravel production line, and are widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, power generation, water conservancy, transportation, and other fields.

The jaw crusher is mainly composed of a frame, eccentric shaft, large pulley, flywheel, side guard plates, toggle plate, toggle plate rear seat, adjusting screw, return spring, fixed jaw plate, and movable jaw plate.
The crushing method of the jaw crusher is of the reciprocating compression type. During operation, the electric motor drives the belt and pulley, causing the movable jaw to move up and down through the eccentric shaft. When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate. The material is crushed through multiple processes of squeezing, rubbing, and grinding between the two jaw plates. When the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases, and the movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate under the action of the tie rod and spring. The crushed material is then freely discharged through the discharge opening at the bottom of the jaw cavity due to gravity. With the continuous rotation of the electric motor, the movable jaw performs periodic crushing and discharging, achieving mass production.

During operation, materials exceeding the crusher’s capacity may enter the equipment. These materials can negatively affect the equipment’s operation and even damage it. In such cases, the toggle plate will break automatically, protecting the equipment from damage.

The machine features a shim-type discharge opening adjustment device and a centralized lubrication system, making it easy to operate and maintain. The jaw plates have a symmetrical structure, allowing them to be reversed and reused after wear, extending their service life and saving on replacement costs.
